# Track a person

> Add someone to Vistadex and build a track record from their predictions.

Select **Track Person** on [Discover](https://www.vistadex.com/) or [People](https://www.vistadex.com/people) after [signing in](/getting-started/log-in).

1. Enter the person's name, X handle if available, and profile username.
2. Choose **Public** or **Private**. Private tracking data is available only to your account.
3. Review the price and pay. **Card** is a monthly subscription; **USDC** pays for 30 days.
4. Wait for source review. **Tracking requested** means the request was received; tracking begins once approved.

Check tracking status in **Portfolio → My tracked people**. Sharing a private profile's URL does not grant access to its data.

Tracking builds a [track record](/introduction/how-vistadex-works). Its payment is separate from funds you allocate to [Long or Short](/trading/long-and-short).
