# FAQ

> Frequently asked questions about using Vistadex

## General

<Accordion title="How does Vistadex work?">
  Vistadex is a prediction markets meta-aggregator. All integrated prediction market venues are presented in a unified interface and tradable via a single account on Solana. Vistadex matches equivalent markets across venues, enabling users to receive the best execution.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What are the fees?">
  Vistadex only charges a fee when you are trading an event with cross-venue matched markets. The fee for cross-venue matched markets is 25 bps (0.25%).
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Is Vistadex custodial?">
  No. Vistadex is non-custodial. Your funds and positions are held in your own wallet. We never have access to your private keys or the ability to move your assets.
</Accordion>

## Trading

<Accordion title="How does pricing work?">
  When you request a quote, our system runs a competitive auction to find the best available price. You see the final price upfront. What you see is what you pay.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Why didn't I get a quote?">
  Quotes may not be available if:

  * The market has very low liquidity
  * Your order size is too large for available liquidity

  Try reducing your order size or waiting for market conditions to improve.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="How long is a quote valid?">
  Quotes are valid for a short window. If you don't confirm in time, request a new quote. Prices may have moved based on market conditions.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Can I set limit orders?">
  Currently, Vistadex only supports market orders. Each trade requires requesting and accepting a quote at the current price.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What's the minimum trade size?">
  There's no strict minimum. Many trades fill on a single venue with no fee at all, making even small trades economical.
</Accordion>

## Markets

<Accordion title="What types of markets are available?">
  Vistadex supports binary prediction markets: YES or NO outcomes. Categories include politics, sports, crypto, and current events. Each market has a specific question and resolution criteria.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="How do markets resolve?">
  Markets resolve based on their stated resolution criteria after the event occurs or deadline passes. Resolution sources vary by market but typically rely on official announcements or verified data.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="What happens if a market is voided?">
  In rare cases where a market cannot be resolved fairly, it may be voided. Voided markets typically return collateral to participants. Check the market's specific terms for details.
</Accordion>

## Wallet & Funds

<Accordion title="How do I log in?">
  Vistadex uses email login. Enter your email address and verify with the code sent to your inbox. A wallet is automatically created and secured for your account.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Can I use USDC from other chains?">
  You need USDC on Solana specifically. USDC on Ethereum, Polygon, or other chains must be bridged to Solana before it can be used on Vistadex.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Where do my shares live?">
  Your prediction market shares are held in your wallet. You maintain full custody of your positions.
</Accordion>

## Troubleshooting

<Accordion title="My transaction failed. What happened?">
  Common reasons for failed transactions:

  * Quote expired before confirmation
  * Network congestion
  * Insufficient USDC balance

  Try again. If problems persist, try logging out and back in.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="I don't see my position after trading.">
  Positions appear after your trade confirms, which usually takes a few seconds. If it's been more than a minute:

  * Refresh the Vistadex page
  * Ensure you're logged in with the correct email account
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="The price changed between quote and execution.">
  Once you accept a quote and confirm, that price is locked. If you see a different price, you may have let the original quote expire and received a new one. Always review the confirmation details before confirming.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="How do I log out?">
  Click your wallet address in the header and select "Disconnect." This ends your session but doesn't affect your positions or balances.
